The design of the 44GS was the first ever expression of the uniquely Japanese Grand Seiko Style, which to this day remains emblematic of the brand. In honor of the 60th anniversary, the Grand Seiko symbol is rendered in gold and the seconds hand in a vivid red, colors that together symbolize sunrise and all the energy that a new dawn brings.
